| Concept | Under the motto of GE.02: de quoi GE me mêle?, Geneva is reflecting on its identity. Are the canton's relations with its foreign communities a myth or a reality? These and many other questions were at the centre of a five-year project carried out by 35 communities. The GE.02 project, which was completed in 2003, ended at Expo.02 with a Labyrinthe de la parole (Labyrinth of Words) and a Mise à mort du Monstre (Killing of the Monster). These were performances with multiple origins, in which fairy tales and sculptures, palaver and painting, theatre and music, choirs and dances merged together. All the artists united to lift the veil on their exciting communal life with poetry and humour. | |
