When you got off the train in Murten-Morat, you felt like you were in a harbour - Jean Nouvel's team of architects had laid out huge chains of ships from the railway and bus stations to the old town and from the Berntor to the lake as a maritime guide. Rusty like the outer shell of the monolith, they gave pedestrians an idea of the atmosphere of the Arteplage Murten-Morat from the very first moment.
