The elegant Kiosque à Musique in the Jardin Anglais, decorated with 11'000 sticks painted by pupils from secondary schools in Appenzell and Neuchâtel and adorned with flowers by the Service des parcs et promenades, was inaugurated practically at the same time as Expo.02 with the blues and rock sounds of the Ashton A Blues Band. Numerous bands performed in this little wooden marvel from May to September.
