Programme | Henry Dunant witnessed the horror of Solferino. His report shook up the public and led to the founding of the International Red Cross and the First Geneva Convention. From then on, the Red Cross developed into the most important humanitarian organisation, constantly challenged by advances in weapons technology, by the changes in armed conflicts, by the new dimensions of barbarism and its representation in the media. Over a dozen actors and musicians transformed the Arteplage Mobile du Jura into a floating open-air stage and told the story of the Red Cross. | |
