Le temps du lac

Time, the core theme of the Arteplage Murten-Morat, is also directly present in the Clock by the German artist Klaus Rinke. In the middle of the lake, halfway to the monolith, is a perfectly normal station Clock. As if the water level of Lake Murten had risen and only the Clock of a sunken railway station was visible. Pointless, because who is it supposed to tell the time to in the sunken world - at the same time meaningful, because time simply goes on, even if there is no one there to measure or read it.
