Olaf Breuning tells stories in mysteriously ambiguous photographs. The artist, who lives in New York (*1970), interprets the themes of the different Arteplages: Instant and Eternity, Nature and Artifice, Me and the Universe, Power and Freedom, and Meaning and Movement. Breuning's pictures are the products of his artistic imagination (or of a non-existent country).
