Pure adventure and nature

The Camphôtel in Yverdon-les-Bains was reminiscent of camping holidays, but offered the comfort of a hotel.

The Camphôtel was in a prime location - right next to the Arteplage Yverdon-les-Bains. It consisted of several house tents, made of canvas, wood and insulating material. 600 beds were distributed among 120 tents. Two different types of tents were available for visitors to choose from: Type A was a large house tent with two sleeping rooms (six beds) and a living room. Type B was a smaller house tent with only one bedroom (four beds) and a small living room. Room service cleaned the tent rooms and made the beds daily. There were central shower and toilet facilities and a lounge tent with restaurant.

Private tents were not allowed.
