The artist Shirana Shahbazi (*1974) has created an ambivalent image of freedom for the Swiss National Exhibition. At the entrance to the Biel-Bienne arteplage, visitors are confronted by a huge screen bearing symbols of freedom and happiness that combine to form a striking visual message. Flickering neon letters above the screen spell out the promising word Freedom.
