Works by: Italian music around 1600: Martin Derungs (world premiere)

The Libretto Festival was inspired by the theme of the Arteplage Murten-Morat, Moment and Eternity, and invited visitors to take a surprising journey into the world of classical music during the day and in the evening. The concerts and performances took place on the lakeshore, on the Arteplage, in the Tente Centenaire, on a mobile stage and at various locations in Murten-Morat (streets, squares, churches, town hall, etc.) and were organised like an itinerary.

Torquato Tasso sings the miracle of love and inspires composers of the early Italian Baroque to create music of ineffable beauty. These works serve as the starting point for a musical show that delivers a contemporary message. The 3 different interpretations of J.S. Bach are a way of taking a contemporary look at the past.
