Souvenirs: Of the 640 façade elements (around 110 tonnes), Expo.02 retained 120 to satisfy the high demand for souvenirs. In consultation with the owner of the monolith, Nüssli Special Events AG, Expo.02 produced two commemorative items.

At the symbolic price of CHF 2002.00, Expo.02 sold a limited and numbered edition of 50 original façade panels measuring 3.30 x 2.00 m (around 170 kg). These were stamped with the Expo.02 logo.

For CHF 340.00 (based on the 34.00 m edge length of the monolith), buyers could purchase a 1.00 m² piece of rusty sheet steel weighing around 30 kg. These were not limited edition, but were also stamped with the Expo.02 logo.

Metalworker Peter Lüdi from Murten-Morat purchased most of the remaining façade elements and used them to create mini-monoliths and decorative panels.

In addition, 80% of the facade was melted down and 80% of the structural steel was reused.
