18:00 - 19:00: Débat 2 - Philosophy as a counsellor?

Philosophy, the love of wisdom, has recently found itself in a clinch between specialised science and life advice. It is being consulted more and more often and is being asked more and more urgently for guidance. It is expected to provide answers to ethical questions in particular. - Where does philosophy stand? Where is its place today? It can refuse to be a counsellor and treat everyday life solely as the subject of its thinking. But it can also become practical and find its way onto television or into cafés. We will discuss its possibilities in a dialogue.
