10:00 - 18:00: Pedalo readings on Lake Murten

Only out here on the water is it quiet. Here you can't hear the many voices, the murmuring and whispering. No wires buzzing above our heads. No lights wink conspiratorially at each other. It's dark here and quiet, and we can try to talk about ourselves. (Matthias Zschokke: The loose happiness)

Lake Murten lies peacefully and quietly in a tranquil Swiss landscape. You hire a pedalo for half an hour for a literary reading trip. An actor or actress rides along on the pedalo and accompanies the excursion with texts from two centuries of Swiss literature. The trips are offered in German and French.

The Trans-Littérale was the meeting place for literature at Expo.02. Many different forms of literature were presented to the public over a total of three long weekends.
